Case Study
Proti Bowls
A digital experience designed to turn curiosity into action

Proti Bowls competes in one of Bengaluru's most crowded categories, where discovery happens on Instagram and the decision happens in under a minute.
The situation
Proti Bowls is a high-protein cloud kitchen competing in one of Bengaluru's most crowded categories. In food, and especially in cloud kitchens, discovery happens on Instagram and the decision happens in under a minute.
That compresses everything. There is no considered evaluation, no comparison spreadsheet, no second visit to think it over. Someone sees a photograph, forms an impression, and either orders or scrolls past. A brand that looks uncertain in the feed has already lost before anyone reaches the menu.
How we approached it
Built for the feed first
We designed the visual identity for the environment it actually lives in. Most brand work is designed on a desktop and then squeezed into a phone; here the phone was the brief, and the feed was the primary surface.
In practice that means the identity has to survive being cropped, seen at thumbnail scale, and placed next to a competitor's photograph with no context in between. Anything that only works at full size is decoration.
The two things food decisions actually turn on
The content strategy concentrated on how the food looks and what is in it โ because in this category those are the two questions, and everything else is secondary.
The deliberate decision was to treat nutritional transparency as a selling point rather than fine print. For a high-protein proposition the numbers are the reason to buy, so burying them the way most restaurants and cloud kitchens do would have thrown away the differentiator.
Friction is the enemy
The menu experience loads instantly on mobile, and the ordering path had as much friction engineered out of it as we could manage. In a category where the decision takes under a minute, every additional tap is a chance to lose the order.
Local search work covered Google Business Profile optimisation and neighbourhood targeting, so the brand surfaces for hungry, high-intent searches nearby. Bengaluru searches by locality rather than by city, which makes the area-level work worth more here than the city-level work.
What changed
The brand now reads as considered rather than improvised in a feed full of competitors, the menu opens without waiting, and the ordering path is short. In a category decided in under a minute, those three things are most of what is available to control.
In the 90 days to 24 August 2026, Proti Bowls drew 15,677 impressions and 435 clicks from Indian search at an average position of 5.0. Position five is inside the visible part of page one, which in a category this crowded is the whole game โ a listing at position twelve may as well not exist when the decision takes under a minute.

If you are in a similar position
If you run a cloud kitchen or a food brand in Bengaluru, the honest hierarchy is: photography, then speed, then everything else. A beautiful website that takes four seconds to open on a mid-range phone on mobile data is worse than a plain one that opens immediately.
And if you have a genuine nutritional or sourcing advantage, put it where people can see it. Treating it as compliance text hides the only thing that separates you from the next listing.
What we did
- Brand: Visual identity designed for the feed and for thumbnail scale.
- Social: Content built around appearance and nutrition, with the numbers made prominent.
- Website: Instant-loading mobile menu, shortened ordering path, Google Business Profile optimised.
